Understanding The General Purpose Of Conference And The Format To Follow

As per recent statistics, the Church has grown at a rapid pace throughout the world. It is not practical anymore to limit the general purpose of the conference to those, which are held at a particular time of the year and only in restricted areas. Then it becomes next to impossible to accommodate all the interested candidates under one roof from around the world. There are many people who are willing to attend the conferences but can’t because of the time or location. Therefore, now the ministry is taking the conferences to the needful people.

The importance of area conferences:

Right now, much like hosting a charity event, the ministry is also working on area conferences as well. These conferences are mostly held in strategic locations so that the religious minister can meet the people and the people get to see the prophet in return, along with other general authorities and their families.

• The main purpose over here is to take the gospel to people within their own environment and focus on their own language.
• It will further encourage the saints to do their jobs wholeheartedly and increase their faith and devotion big time.
• These conferences are designed in such a manner that they will raise the warning voice as well.

People who must attend the conferences:

When it comes to such religious gatherings, it is mandatory for two members of the Ministry to be a part of this routine. Moreover, the conferences are visited by a few members of the Quorum of the Twelve, and also around 2 to 3 other general authorities. There will be an area supervisor who will be part of this conference, along with his family.

The format to follow:

There is a specific format followed by these religious conferences. It will be an evening of the cultural program, where representatives of every country within the area will be invited to come and take an active part. It helps in exhibiting the great talents of the local members around here. Make sure to be an active part of such religious conferences now and learn about The Almighty under the new limelight.

The church is to be taught and led by the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for the purpose of every believer seeing and exercising his/her priestly and kingly ministry as outlined in I Peter 2:5,9 and Revelation 16.  The five-fold ministry is to teach and train its people to do the work of the ministry with maturity and unity in mind.  Working with these ministries will be elders, deacons, and the gifted men and women of the church (Romans 12:3-8; I Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 4:11-13; I Timothy 3:2-12; Titus 2:1-15).
